trixBrix Switch |

Hi
I have for a while now moved away from original LEGO Train tracks as the turns er too narrow for my larger steam trains.
Therefor i would very much like some om trixbrix parts to be made in ldraw, so i can do instructions with them.
In partucular i would like their R104 switch both left and right.
If possible also their ballast part that goes with the above switches.
Last I would also like to have made their double crossover R104
Also here if possible including their ballast part for this crossover.
Thanks

An updated version of the LDraw All-In-One-Installer, in short AIOI, containing the LDraw Parts Library update 2022-03 with 563 new files (including 328 new parts and 18 new primitives) has been released.
The AIOI supports Windows XP (Home and Pro), Windows Vista or higher (all versions). There are two installer files available: Use the 64 Bit AIOI to install all the main 64 Bit programs, while the older 32 Bit programs are offered in a separated .exe file. Please note that only the 64 Bit version contains the LDraw Parts Library. If you want to use the 32 Bit programs it is mandatory that the library has been installed previously. The Installer will NOT run on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT Ver 4, 2000, or XP below SP2.
It contains the following changes:
* Update to Parts Library 2022-03
* Update to MLCad.ini 2022-03
* Update to Offline Parts Catalog 2022-03
You can download the AIOI from:
LDraw.org >> Help >> Get Started >> Windows >> LDraw All-In-One-Installer
Many thanks to all the programmers who contributed to this release.

Sticker number clarification |

I'm going to add some clarification to the sticker numbering section of the Part Number Spec to state that if the stickers are numbered on the sheet then the corresponding letter (e.g. 1 = a, 2= b) should be used as the letter suffix. I don't think this constitutes a material and, therefore, votable change but we can vote if either of you would like.

Hi!
Is there a way for replacing bricks? I know it's possible to do that in notepad if one opens ldr file (replace NNNN.dat for NNNN2.dat), but it's such thing possible in LDCad?

Part 71603 |

Since most of this discussion was off forum and between Joshua and me and everyone else and me, I'd like to write down the strategy I've envisioned
71603 is the number for the whole assembly therefore:
71603: The complete assembly with fins/prisms (u9248), center assembly (u9548c01), and battery cover (u9546)
u9548c01: The center assembly with top (u9548), bottom (u9547), electrics (u9577), screws (u9549 and u9576), and buttons (not yet modeled)
This leaves out u9547 and 71603c01 of which both can be deleted.
The battery cover can go in either 71603 or u9548c01 whatever the consensus is.
