The PT is rejecting my reviews when I post from iOS Safari (and maybe iOS in general, I didn't test the other browsers). It seems that apostrophe character is the problem.

Comments:
This model also has special meaning to me since it's the one that got me started on part authoring and contains my first official part (2168.dat). This lead to me becoming a more active member of the LDraw community and eventually to where I am today.

Request this part: 41747pb004, Wedge 6 x 2 Right with Silver Windscreen Pattern and its match. I have this part but I have no idea what bin it ended up in and it would be an undertaking to figure out where it is in my unpacked LEGO.

I do not know where I have to publish my presentation message so I hope it works here. I have learned everything with tutorials and this is not my first virtual construction but I want to learn more so this is the best site. I start only asking for advice, the MOC has two very different parts that are composed of several submodels, is there a way to join them in the end?, my solution so far has been pdf part 1 and pdf part 2 , thanks and regards to all.

From next week on I am going to guide 2 students at the school I work on a project for their course "Research & Development".
They are going to make a design for their project in LDraw! What this will remain to be seen, but it looks like it is going to be a "House of the future".
Normally the students make their design with scrapheap stuff, like paper, cardboard, paint, wood, metal, toilet rolls, bottle caps, etc. But now they will make a LEGO model of it.

We will use LDCad to digitally create the design and I will be teaching them how to do that.
Ultimately we will create nice renders and other graphics for the paper they must write for it.  And we will probably build the model for real with bricks too!
With 2 of my colleague teachers, I will also part of judging the project and help with the presentation.

I am pretty excited about this and think it is very nice to see a unique application for LDraw!

6.03(a), the 2018/2019 Steering Committee hereby calls for the community to
nominate individuals as candidates for the 2019/2020 Steering Committee[1].

Please post nominations in response to this message. Nominations will only be
recognized if they are in response to this message.

Per ss.6.03(a), you must specify the name of the person you are nominating,
along with your name. Another member of the community must second the nomination
in a reply, and the nominee must publicly accept the nomination in the same
channel (direct reply to the nomination or second) in order to be valid. If the
nominee does not accept, it will be assumed that he or she has declined, and
they will not be placed on the ballot.

Nominations will close at 11:59 PM GMT on 28 February 2019. This means that to
be listed on the ballot, a candidate must have been nominated, seconded and must
have formally stated acceptance by that time.

The Steering Committee will give sufficient notice of the election and election
procedures per ss.6.03(b).

NOTE: subsection 6.03(b) states that elections should take place before March 1.
We interpret this to mean that we will commence the election on March 1, but
since it is electronic, it will run for 2 weeks, just as last time. The exact
time and date of start and end will be announced sometime very close to (but
after) 0000 GMT March 1.

again, this is just a minor change, but it includes already some refactoring work on LPC's code base.

Download and install the latest LDPatternCreator release directly from sourceforge.net.

Change log:

New features:

• Increased the default background image scale value to 100 (was 1).
  
• I did small refactorings on the code base, which is important for the future development of LPC.
  

Could someone do the printing for 18675pb01 and 18675pb08?  I attempted to, but I just don't understand the subfiles enough.

Hello there!

After a few years of not using the LDraw-family of tools, I bought the Lego coaster set 10261 and decided to start a little hobby programming project on the side. I'm working on a roller coaster designer tool. Specifically, I'm trying to include two pieces of functionality that will be useful additions to the already existing tools:

• Instead of positioning each brick individually, just add them at the end of the track automatically, similar to RollerCoaster Tycoon (anybody?  )
  
• And... it will automatically generate a nice support structure, based on the position of the tracks, avoiding collision with the track itself or having too many pillars and ideally also connecting them with horizontal bars like in the 10261 set
