| Minifig Torso Shortcut Numbering and Questions |

All existing torsos should now have at least 1 assembly shortcut.
There are still ca. 54 possible combinations from existing files that could be made (and have a real counterpart), once numbering scheme is clear.
Note that this does NOT include plain torso assemblies or stickered ones.
973ph8 is still out there, but this one likely doesn't exist at all.
I am also sceptical towards the existence of this torso (which already has an assembly file):

Can anyone confirm it's existence? I only know of the one with backprint...

I need a 1-6 ring primitive. It does not yet exist in the size I need or any size near the correct size. Which option is best?
a) create the 1-6 ring as a new primitive,
b) combine a 1-8 ring primitive with a rotated 1-24 ring primitive (both exist in a nearby size),
b) use the 1-8 ring as primitive and add the two missing segments as quads,
c) define all segments as quads, i.e. not use primitives.

| Non-SSL Access to LDraw.org |

In a month or two I will doing my yearly rebuild of the server, when this happens:
I will be turning off all non-https routes for all ldraw.org domains.
I realize this will most likely break some older programs and I apologize for that. Properly maintaining non-SSL access year to year is an administrative burden and adds unneeded complexity to the web server setup. The realities of the modern web dictate the SSL is the expected default.
