Changes enough for only CC by 4.0 |

Hello
I wanted to add the references and the set numbers to the minifigure head 3626bp7b. Uploading to the Parts Tracker was not possible because BFC CERTIFY is CW.
Changing it to BFC CERTIFY CCW should not be a problem.
However, I noticed that the license CC by 2.0 is still specified. Are the above changes (BFC CERTIFY) sufficient to publish this part under my name and reference to the original author only under the CC by 4.0 license?
I would also keep the old HISTORY lines.
Greetings
Manfred

Hey,
this release fixes a rare crash(!) concerning the experimental OpenGL 3.3 3D renderer.
And all good things come in threes. There are three new features, too!
![[Image: attachment.php?aid=12753]](https://forums.ldraw.org/attachment.php?aid=12753)
As always, you can download LDPE from this page:
http://nilsschmidt1337.github.io/ldparteditor/
Changelog:
(3 new features and 1 bug fix)
With this release you will be able to...
- ...display the axes of coordinates in the center of the 3D screen (it is also used in the first 3D view for PartReview)
- ...set and see a different selection color than red in backface-culling modes.
- ...have 4 digits in the last section of a mixed-mode torus description (e.g. 1 x 2.0000 x 0.2500).
The following critical issue is fixed:
- [OpenGL 3] Crash when adding a line, triangle, quad, condline, distance meter or protractor to an empty file.
The program was tested intensively with "real world" files.
However, something can go wrong in about 140.000 lines of code.
Installation on Windows:
- Download and extract LDPartEditor_win32_x64.zip
- Run LDPartEditor-1.8.87.msi
- Start LDPartEditor from the start menu
Installation on Linux:
- Download and extract LDPartEditor_linux_x64.zip
- Install ldparteditor_1.8.87-1_amd64.deb
- Start LDPartEditor from the menu or via launcher
Installation on Mac OS X:
- Download and extract LDPartEditor_mac_x64.zip
- Mount LDPartEditor-1.8.87.dmg
- Drag LDPartEditor.app to the Applications folder
- Copy ldparteditor.sh to your home folder
4a. Open a Terminal.app and run ./ldparteditor.sh
4b. Or open a Terminal.app and run /Applications/LDPartEditor.app/Contents/MacOS/LDPartEditor
I listen carefully to your requests and possible complaints. Please leave me a message, with your thoughts and wishes to further improve the software.
LDPE is a 3D CAD application: The overall system requirements are higher. While I recommend to use a powerful 64-bit multicore system, it could be possible, to run LDPE on older machines as well.
System Requirements:
Minimum System Requirements:
- OpenGL 2.1 compatible Graphics Card
- Operating System (64-bit): Windows [7 or newer], Linux [e.g. Ubuntu Linux >=14.4], Mac OS X [>=10.6]
- CPU: Multicore-Processor e.g. Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon II (>2.0Ghz)
- RAM: 4GB
- Video-Memory: 1 GB
- Free Disk Space: 150 MB
Recommended Requirements:
- Operating System (64bit): Windows 7,8,10,11, Linux [e.g. Ubuntu Linux >=14.4], Mac OS X [>=10.6]
- OpenGL 3.3 compatible Graphics Card
- CPU: Multicore-Processor with 4 cores (or more)
- RAM: >4 GB
- Video-Memory: >1 GB
- Free Disk Space: 500 MB
- For a faster start, LDPartEditor and the LDraw™ library should be installed on an SSD.

Calling all reviewers |

As of right now (8/26/2024) I have 42 parts on my "Ready for admin" list, almost all of which I intentionally held back because they are part of larger, not ready assemblies.
There are over 7000 parts that need at least one certify.
The next update will be very small unless those with Part Reviewer status step up. Right now we have about 4-7 regulars reviewing parts, I'd like to see more than that. This is a group effort so if your are a long time author but only submit but don't review, I kindly ask you to review a batch of parts for every part you submit. I've added a few tools to make this easier and LDPE makes it fairly trivial to do reviews.
That said, if you are part author and think you are ready, ask me for review permission.
