Good PNG editor? |

Anyone know of a good free png editor capable of (also) editing the alpha channel.
I need to create stacks of small images for use in LDCad 2 but the transparency stuff is taking way too much time using GIMP.

Tweak submodel instances individually |

In my model, I placed two instances of a submodel. Now I need tweak those instances (rotate and shift pieces along pins) to make them fit within the main model. The problem is that I need to tweak them in different ways, in a mirrored fashion to be specific. I have studied the advanced editing tutorial at http://www.melkert.net/LDCad/docs/advEdit but the nested editing is not sufficient here. Whatever changes I make in one submodel instance, have exactly the opposite effect of what is necessary in the other instance.
Is there a way to decouple submodel instances from their original so that changes in Nested mode don't affect the original or other instances? Or do you have any other ideas? The mirroring feature by the way did not help either.

NXT Motor 9842-1 |

I am using lego parts to make a control system for Secondary Education.
I have access to an engineering shop, but need to provide accurate dimensions for the hole layout / external body size of the Interactive Servo Motor (9842-1) on NXT2.0.
I have found this information for beams (http://i.stack.imgur.com/83RL2.png) but need to get more accurate information about the motor to embed it in a backplate. Hoping someone can help.

Patterned elements from 21314 Tron: Legacy Lightcycles set |

There are 3 torsos (front, back, and 2 with printed arms), 3 legs, 2 new heads, 1 helmet (which is unique to the set), 2 dishes, and 2 discs that have patterns. I don’t have time to do it myself but I can provide as many detailed pictures as needed if someone wants to give them a shot.
Also, there are several other, non-patterned parts as well

Link to 'View Today's Posts' disappear |

I'm not logged on to the forum on my phone. I wisit it as a Guest. I use Chrome on a android phone.
There is a link 'View Today's Posts' in the top right, below the header, I have to click to get the latest posts.
When I use that link, and after I get a fresh page with the latest posts, the link is gone. It simply disappear from the page.
The next time I want to refresh the search I have to go back to an older, cached page to find the link again. I noted this change in the behaviour yesterday. Previously the link was always present in a grey bar, below the login bar.

title of LDraw Wiki |

Hello Orion,
the LDraw Wiki currently returns as "title" for the browser "LDraw.org".
It would be better if it would return "LDraw Wiki".
The reason I ask is that I dragged a URL of the Wiki into my browser bookmarks,
and it was stored there as "LDraw.org" instead of "LDraw Wiki", which I expected.
LDraw.org should be reserved for www.ldraw.org instead IMHO.
What do you think?
