Part 93094 - Figure Friends Lipstick
Posted by: Orion Pobursky - 2019-01-24, 4:58 - Forum: Parts Tracker Discussion - Replies (7)

Rebrickable lists this part as a solid color:
https://rebrickable.com/parts/93094/lipstick-plain/

It does indeed come in solid white in 2 Architecture sets.

In the library, however, this part has the handle hard coded as Light Bluish Grey. I think we should either change the hardcoding in the library part or create a new part without the handle hard coded.

Question Inline part ???
Posted by: Johann Eisner - 2019-01-23, 20:39 - Forum: Parts Tracker Discussion - Replies (7)

Hi
Maybe a silly question, but I often read "inline a part".
What does this mean exactly?
And always remember, I'm a bloody beginner.

  Canvas, sail or curtain?
Posted by: Willy Tschager - 2019-01-23, 20:27 - Forum: Parts Tracker Discussion - Replies (5)

We currently have:

Canvas Triangular 22 x 18 Carousel Roof
Canvas Wagon Cover with Crossed Cutlasses Pattern (Formed)
Canvas Hammock Oval 10 x 5 (Formed)

Sail Trapezoidal 28 x 17
Curtain for Window 1 x 4 x 3 with Red/Green/Dark Flesh Plaid Pattern

I'd like to see the Sail and Curtain renamed to:

Canvas Sail Trapezoidal 28 x 17
Canvas Curtain for Window 1 x 4 x 3 with Red/Green/Dark Flesh Plaid Pattern

In order to have all the fabric stuff in one place. Remarks?

w.

  Part Numbering
Posted by: Orion Pobursky - 2019-01-22, 6:23 - Forum: Parts Tracker Discussion - Replies (1)

I've authored this part:
https://rebrickable.com/parts/45329/brick-1x2-no-44/

First, it seem odd that this is a new part. I swear I've seen it before.

Second, it is very clearly a patterned version of 3004 but Rebrickable and Brickset have it with a unique part number. Bricklink doesn't seem to list it at all. What should submit it as, 45329 or 3004pXX. Also, is Brick 1 x 2 with 24 Medium Stone Rectangles too generic?

Third, avoiding T-junctions is impossible without using a crazy amount of very thin triangles.

  X of the Month Contests.
Posted by: Orion Pobursky - 2019-01-18, 20:11 - Forum: General LDraw.org Discussion - Replies (6)

I'd like to resurrect the Model/Scene/Part of the Month Contest and replace the "News" box on the front page with it. I think I'd like to start with Model of the Month, see how that goes, and expand from there. Thoughts?
