Circle/curve generator? |

Is there a tool available that can draw a curve or circle with a given radius, and then approximate that curve with bricks? Thanks.
[edit]
I recalled that MLCad has a mosaic generator that can take a bitmap image as input. But I haven't found a good tool to draw the circles.
1. Paint.NET output isn't symmetrical in my tests.
2. GIMP draws the circles too thick. I want them only 1px thick.
3. This tool is pretty good, but I don't know how to get rid of the gray lines. https://donatstudios.com/PixelCircleGenerator
4. Ditto. http://www.mineconics.net/
I have a copy of Paint Shop Pro somewhere. I will need to dig it out of storage.

LICreator - problems |

Hey there!
First and foremost, I find this tool is great!
However, I have some troubles with it.
I have LIC_0.6.0 and LIC 0.9 - only these two I was able to find.
0.9 made my instruction in great 2400x1800 px, which I find great quality.
However, it looses step separators, plus makes trouble in PDF generation. Actually, yesterday I was able to produce PDFs, but today my computer hangs once I start doing that - Windows 10 on Phenom 955 BE with no external graphic card. So I tested it on my second computer, i5 Dell E6410 also with Win10. Same problems - but yesterday it was OK!
So I made whole instruction back again, from ldr file in LIC 0.6.0, but forgot to increase resolution, and default 800x600 produces bad quality.
I though, I will just set FullHD or even these 2400x1800 but then all parts are so small. Worse, PLI are small and when I edit template, it affects part but not frame, which stays small and needs to be clicked and just confirm to 100% scale but on each slide!
LIC 0.9 have troubles with submodels - once I start submodel, saved file cannot be opened again ;(
Either I make something wrong or LiC needs many improvments stll ;(
ps. LiC 0.6.0 works OK for me, but I just would like to import ldr model right into higher resolution...

DUPLO Early Simple Machines missing parts |

Hello everybody!
I'm AFOL plus I'm teaching kids robotics using best tool ever made: Lego Education sets, from DUPLO Early Simple Machines, thru WeDO 1.0, 2.0 and last, but not least, Mindstorms.
I'm creating some instructions on my own - and today I need to make instructions for smallest kids: 3yrs old, who can't get on with instructions made by LEGO, where they combined few elements together and make pictures too complicated.
So, MLCad is my answer, but, it is missing technical DUPLO parts.
DUPLO Early Simple Machines set: https://education.lego.com/en-us/product...i-set/9656
Missing parts:

plus a transparent gear box that has no own picture, but is presented on group elements:
http://bricker.info/sets/970680/
I know I'm asking for a big favour. As a reward, I can promise each and every instruction I make using them I will put on public.
If anyone needs specific pictures, measurement etc, I own these sets...
Best regards
Krzysztof

Lpub3d crashes when trying to open mpd |

Hi all, I hope someone can help me with the issue below. Raised the question already on the Eurobricks forum but maybe someone could help here as well.
I'm building a C model of the 42029 pickup using Ldcad 1.5 and I was planning to create instructions with Lpub3D. I made the mistake of not testing my .mpd during the building process with Lpub3D, so I've realised towards the end that the file cannot be opened, Lpub3D crashes when I try to open the file (Lpub3d***.exe has stopped working). As I did not have any other troubleshooting ideas I started to remove submodels and steps in my mpd going backwards to see if I can find the problematic part.
As it turned out the problem is not that simple - different versions of Lpub3D on different operating systems can open different versions of my file.
E.g. version with 8 submodels - opens with Win10/Lpub3d 2.0.14 / opens with Win7/Lpub3d 2.0.14 / opens with Win10/Lpub3d 2.0.14
version with 11 submodels - crashes with Win10/Lpub3d 2.0.14 / opens with Win7/Lpub3d 2.0.14 / opens with Win10/Lpub3d 1.3.4
version with 21 submodels - crashes with all versions (nearly complete model has 60 submodels)
Due to this inconsistency I could not find a single part or submodel causing the issue - above a certain complexity all versions of Lpub3D crashes.
I'm sure Lpub3d supposed to handle a model with ~1000 pieces, so I don't know at this point how to change my file to make it work. Any advise or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. I've linked the different versions of the files if someone would be kind enough to have a look.
