Replace 973p4v or new part? |

Official torso 973p4v only has a pattern on the front, but Bricklink has the part listed as a two-sided torso (973pb0537).
There is only one minifig which has the torso without the back print, an exclusive minifig in a limited set.
I would like to upload the part with front/back patterns, should I pick a new number or have 973p4v replaced?

Hello,
I'd like to request part 93088 (Dog, Friends, Puppy, Standing) with following patterns for Friends OMR project
https://forums.ldraw.org/thread-24146.html
93088pb01 Dog, Friends, Puppy, Standing with Bright Light Blue Eyes, Black Nose and Mouth and Reddish Brown Patch and Spots Pattern (Charlie / Jacky)
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/search.page...88pb01#T=A
(Prints on the face and left body, not on right body, I've confirmed through image search)
93088pb02 Dog, Friends, Puppy, Standing with Bright Light Blue Eyes and Black Nose and Mouth Pattern (Bruno / Coco / Pippa)
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/search.page...88pb02#T=A
(Print only on the face)
It will be highly appreciated, but of course not in a hurry.

LDView 4.4 Beta 2 test release |

I have posted a test release for LDView 4.4 Beta 2 to GitHub:
https://github.com/tcobbs/ldview/release...v4.4_Beta2
This release contains bug fixes since Beta 1, in addition to adding check boxes to the Windows Save Snapshot dialog to disable usage of Framebuffer Object and/or Pixel Format.
The ChangeHistory.html file that is included in the release lists all of the changes since LDView 4.3. In the macOS version, ChangeHistory.html is in the dmg. In the Windows version, ChangeHistory.html gets installed to wherever you install LDView (C:\Program Files\LDView by default). I'm actually not sure where it goes in the Linux version. Please see my Alpha 6 announcement for a list of what I feel are the most important changes relative to LDView 4.3.
Please let me know about any problems you find. The preferred way to do that is with LDView's GitHub Issues tracker. However, if you do not want to create a GitHub account so that you can do that, you can reply to this message.

interface with LPub3D |

I am hoping that someone, maybe Travis, can provide some insight on how this works.
I have run into this issue, and also saw someone post on eurobricks about this same thing.
LPub3D will render only the part of the assembly that is on the page.
There are a couple of example images posted here:
https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.p...-the-page/
I tried to edit the LDview parameter ini file that is in the configuration menu of LPub3D but I didnt get any where.
I am hoping that adding a parameter to the LDview parameters ini file within LPub3D can force the render of the whole model regardless of the page size that is being called for. Is this even possible without having to dig into the source code of LPub3D?
Thanks in advance!

LDraw.org 2020-02 Parts Update Now Available |

The 2020-02 LDraw Parts Update has been now been released. This adds 712 new files to the core library, including 510 new parts and 15 new primitives.
Thanks are due to all the part authors who created or corrected parts for this release. The small, but dedicated, band of reviewers also play an important role in keeping files moving through the Parts Tracker and deserve just as much credit.
You can preview the new parts in 2020-02 here, and download the zip-file update or Windows install package here. Alternatively you can use the LDView menu option File | Check for Library Updates... to install the update.

Popular new parts (LEGO Art, etc..) |

I encountered some fairly common (and highly sought) new parts that are missing, which sadly prevents me from adding labels for these parts to my LEGO Brick Labels collection.
I'd love to see these added to the collection!
- 66956 - 8 sets, 5 colors.
- 65803 - 4 sets, 1 color (LEGO Art)
- 67139 - 4 sets, 1 color (LEGO Art)
- 55819 - 4 sets, 1 color (LEGO Art)
Slightly older parts:- 27393 - 2017+ 33 sets, 7 colors.
Also love to see a final model for 20953 that correctly accepts color application. (The current one is fixed "black" for top and bottom.)
Sincerely,
---tom
