An updated version of the LDraw All-In-One-Installer, in short AIOI, containing the LDraw Parts Library update 2023-04 with 512 new files (including 259 new parts and 19 new primitives) has been released.

The AIOI supports Windows XP (Home and Pro), Windows Vista or higher (all versions). There are two installer files available: Use the 64 Bit AIOI to install all the main 64 Bit programs, while the older 32 Bit programs are offered in a separated .exe file. Please note that only the 64 Bit version contains the LDraw Parts Library. If you want to use the 32 Bit programs it is mandatory that the library has been installed previously. The Installer will NOT run on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT Ver 4, 2000, or XP below SP2.

It contains the following changes:

* Update to Parts Library 2023-04
* Update to MLCad.ini 2023-04
* Update to Offline Parts Catalog 2023-04

I just updated the MLCad.ini file accordingly to the latest LDraw.org parts update 2023-04. The .ini file defines (among other things) the parts available in MLCad's, LEOCad's and Bricksmith's minifigure generator.

 I could see this being used for a bunch of things, the arms could be hooks, leafs of some plant or handguard of a sword besides small creature. Would be an interesting part to have.

Hello all,

I need to 'draw' some simple 3D shapes for a new LDraw program I'm working on.

In the past I generated those in code (e.g. LDCad's color wheel disk etc), but this limits things a lot, so this time I'm thinking about importing .obj files or const data structures instead.

Blender and so on are a bit overkill for this as I only need very simple things (e.g. a ruby/marvel like one)

Anyone has tips on software to use for creating such simple triangle meshes?

Maybe even LDPE?

Hello!  I’m building a paddle steamer, and kinda need the paddle wheels for said paddle steamer.  Problem is, that part isn’t available on Stud.io, and unless there’s a 3D model, they won’t add it.  So, I’m requesting part 4788c01 for creation so it can be added to Stud.io, thus allowing me to finally finish my paddle steamer.  Rockatoa, Brickticks out!

Hello, just did the new printed tile 1x1 round (dont have that part, just from pics), but the stickers are much harder, any volunteers?

The new wheel BL 100942pb01 also doesnt exist yet, any idea where to get it from? Its a dual mold, which doesnt make it easier...

The other "new" parts in the set are just recolors.

Can someone make this part?
