Are Smaug wings even possible? - Richard - 2024-02-10

wing folding right:

The wing has rubber tissue/or all rubber. It folds with the tissue in the wingspan slot in-between the hinge that becomes closer or further bent based on how hinged the wing is. So it can't be made in two parts but also has to move.

No doubt about it: the best lego dragon wings... But if it's eventually made would they need to be static or have extended and folded versions or a third mid animation version or somehow work like some flex tube? Or a new system just to get it working for just 2 parts?

These would be very difficult to make as a part.

Unfortunatly no raw meshes are available for these parts and modeling it from scratch will be very difficult.

If made the wings would for sure be mde available in at least two positions, folded and streched out.

Only thing could be the model of smaug from the hobbit game.
