Minifig fig-014654 request (E-Sports Gamer) - Geo Draco - 2024-02-14 Hello, requesting the parts for series 25 collectable figure “E-Sports Gamer”, since it doesn’t appear to be in the database as of yet (relatively new prints). Rebrickable link: https://rebrickable.com/minifigs/fig-014654/e-sports-gamer/#parts Alternatively, are there any resources available on how one might go about recreating printed minifigure parts in LDraw themselves? I’m unfamiliar with the process of making parts for LDraw, but I do have some 3D experience already and might like to attempt adding some of these new figure prints myself, if the process is not terribly difficult. RE: Minifig fig-014654 request (E-Sports Gamer) - Gerald Lasser - 2024-02-14 Hello, Yes, there are of course the necessary tools available to recreate these patterns for LDraw. In this case it is the LDraw Pattern Creator, or short LDPC. https://sourceforge.net/projects/patterncreator/ This is a drawing program, based on the LDraw grid and its colours and included some templates already to start right of. There is a very nice french tutorial, which google or others translate very good. https://jc-tchang.philohome.com/manuel/LPC_a.htm TO start get/find an orthogonal picture of the pattern you want to create, Select a template in LDPC (e.g. 973) Load the picture into LDPC , size it accordingly and off you go. We are very happy to welcome new authors! BR Gerald |
