  LDraw Additional-Tools-Installer 2025-02 v1 now available
Posted by: Willy Tschager - 2025-07-20, 9:30 - Forum: LDraw.org Announcements - No Replies

An updated version of the LDraw Additional-Tools-Installer, in short ATI, containing 32-Bit-Programms.

This version comes with an update to MLCad 3.52, which fixes a bug caused by empty.dat on Win11. As a result some parts shrank to a tiny dot in all parts preview windows. Including the preview in the minifig generator.

You can download the ATI from:

LDraw.org >> Help >> Get Started >> Windows >> LDraw All-In-One-Installer

Many thanks to Mike Lachmann for fixing the bug quickly

  LDraw All-In-One-Installer 2025-02 v1 now available
Posted by: Willy Tschager - 2025-07-20, 9:22 - Forum: LDraw.org Announcements - No Replies

An updated version of the LDraw All-In-One-Installer, in short AIOI, containing the LDraw Parts Library Updates from 2025-02 to 2025-06.

The AIOI supports Windows XP (Home and Pro), Windows Vista or higher (all versions). There are two installer files available: Use the 64 Bit AIOI to install all the main 64 Bit programs, while the older 32 Bit programs are offered in a separated .exe file. Please note that only the 64 Bit version contains the LDraw Parts Library. If you want to use the 32 Bit programs, it is mandatory that the library has been installed previously. The Installer will NOT run on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT Ver 4, 2000, or XP below SP2.

It contains the following changes:

* Update to Parts Library 2025-06
* Update to MLCad.ini 2025-06
* Update to Offline Parts Catalog 2025-06

You can download the AIOI from:

LDraw.org >> Help >> Get Started >> Windows >> LDraw All-In-One-Installer

Many thanks to all the programmers who contributed to this release.

  Same set, different sheet numbers?
Posted by: Magnus Forsberg - 2025-07-13, 8:35 - Forum: Parts Tracker Discussion - Replies (8)

The set 75889 - Ferrari Ultimate Garage has 2 sticker sheets, 6221805 and 6221808

All the stickers are made and on the Part Tracker, but all use the first number, 6221805
The second sheet, 6221808 start with number 40

6221805 sticker 1-39
6221808 sticker 40-75

How should the stickers from the second sheet be numbered?

  5724pr0001 Bubble Canopy 6x11x2 Printed
Posted by: SNIPE - 2025-07-12, 15:29 - Forum: Part Requests - Replies (2)

I'm requesting this part because I think it would make a good le mans rece car canopy, so want to make a car from it.
an unprinted version would also be nice, although it doesn't come unprinted in any set yet.

It should be on the instructions app.
its.dimensions are 6x11x2

  bizzare minifig variants
Posted by: Jeff Jones - 2025-07-09, 11:11 - Forum: Parts Authoring - No Replies

magnus has uploaded modulex parts to the pt i think are keylights and keychains allowed?

on the outside the keychain minifigs are same size and articulation as normal minifig but with a keychain on head

but on inside keychain minifig different body torso no neck neck on hips head has tiny hole for the keychain, arms hands and legs same
https://i0.wp.com/truenorthbricks.com/wp...C576&ssl=1

the unique moulds are in digital bricks 18849 for hips 19993 for torso 22878 for head and 27055 for keychain itself (there is a another keychain id 27061)
i have done torso and head not yet hips and keychain, the studless 2x3 tile that goes on these things 48955 is on pt so they should be allowed

but as for keylight minifig they large i think 8 centimeters meaning they are 2 times size of minifig

arms and hands do come off, arm fit on normal minifig hands no
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4002/4481...4fcbb9.jpg
i did arm big no rest of minifig because frankly i dont care about them and the arms are the only elements that fit on normal minifig
just right arm for left arm do -1 on x axis for hands do 2 on all size
for your viewing displessure here is buff yoda

  Wookiees!
Posted by: Jeff Jones - 2025-07-08, 16:48 - Forum: Part Requests - No Replies

as of now the only wookiee on the tracker is the old chewbacca
however since there are 5 other moulds that i would like 1 or more on the tracker, i would start in order of release

51217 wookiee warrior with armor only used in 2 sets from 2005, no raw mesh available, too old for bi. too complex (organic so no chance of it)
15307 modern chewbacca, common sw part, this is the one i would like the most to be authored. luckily mesh available ldd (either i or someone else do the print so it would be eventually be in stud.io)
15632 wookiee with armor chief tarfful mesh available bi? (doesnt show up but is around the time so should be there)
19232 generic wookiee no armor or bandolier mesh available bi
36038 young chewbacca from solo mesh available bi
