  Part 64867
Posted by: Merlijn Wissink - 2016-01-21, 21:31 - Forum: Part Requests - Replies (10)

To my surprise, part 64867 isn't available in LDraw (yet).
I'm missing it for one of the mixels.

Anyone willing to make it? Smile

  LDraw Facebook Group
Posted by: Bill Ward - 2016-01-21, 18:26 - Forum: General LDraw.org Discussion - Replies (12)

For those who use Facebook, I've created a Group there for discussing LDraw related topics. Please join if you would like to participate.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1711364279149819/

The intent is not to compete with these forums, but a lot of people may not know about the forums, or may be more active on Facebook, so it provides another venue to talk about LDraw.

Rather than burrying this kind of questions in LDCad new version announcement threads I figured out it might be interesting to create a specific thread...

  Lego on "The Daily Show"

On a segment of Comedy Central's "Daily Show" They had a part about Lego. Apparently they give a better return on investment than gold.

Virtually open wings on Poe's X-wing Fighter
Posted by: Reuben Pearse - 2016-01-20, 22:13 - Forum: LDraw Editors and Viewers - No Replies

I've converted the LXF file for 75102 (Poe's X-wing Fighter) to an LDraw model using LDD2LDraw

The model currently has the X-Wings in their "folded/collapsed" state. I'm wondering if I can use the gears feature in SR 3D Builder (or another tool?) to "virtually" open the wings using the cog on the back of the model (you can do this with the "real" model!)

I'd also like to fold/collapse the wings on Kyle Ren's command shuttle (75104) using a similar approach.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Reuben

  Callout placed wrong
Posted by: Jaco van der Molen - 2016-01-20, 21:11 - Forum: LDraw Editors and Viewers - Replies (2)

Hi again Trevor,

Regarding some placement here is another example of where it goes wrong.
I set this callout to be at Bottom:Right of the Assem, but it turns up at the Top:Right postion?

LPub3D crashes every now and then
Posted by: Jaco van der Molen - 2016-01-20, 21:07 - Forum: LDraw Editors and Viewers - Replies (8)

Hi Trevor,

Every now and then LPub3D crashes producing a minidump (the last one from this evening) attached in the zip.
This particular crash came whe I changed the margins of an assembly.

Another crash often occurs is when I add a divider in either multistep pages or callouts.

Saving the LDraw file just before that and reloading it keeps it from crashing again.

Perhaps you can look into this?

  Lost Eurobricks account details
Posted by: Jaco van der Molen - 2016-01-20, 20:11 - Forum: Off-Topic - Replies (5)

Hi Folks,

Recently I tried to login at the Eurobricks forums with my account username and password.
It had been a while since I logged in and it turns out I have forgotten my password.
Then I requested to resent my password but did not get any e-mail.
Next I tried to create a new account with another E-mailaddress.
It turned out that I apparently used that E-mailaddress before on Eurobricks so I have 2 accounts.
Alas I do not know the username of that second account and neither the password.
Then I requested to resent my password for that second account but did not get any e-mail.
Next I tried to create a new account with yet another E-mailaddress that I did not use before.
All goes well, except there is still no conformation mail.
It's been days since I tried all that and got no E-mail with details on how to log in on my old accounts or activate my new account.
There's no E-mail in the SPAM or unwanted items.

Then I decided to sent an E-mail to the admins of Eurobricks (a few days ago now) to enlighten me on how to retreive my account information. Disapointing enough I have not heard from them since.

So: does anyone know how to contact Eurobricks?
Has anyone had this problem before?

I'd like to post something there and ask someone a question, but now I cannot do that :-(

Any Eurobricks admins here on the LDraw forums?

Thanks.

  AIOI 2015-02 Beta

Hi,

a beta of the LDraw All-In-One-Installer 2015-02 can be found here:

http://www.holly-wood.it/tmp/LDraw_AIOI_...bit_v1.exe

The 2015-02 contains the following changes:

Making the location of the LDraw parts library flexible was a major hassle. Cross your fingers that I cought all references.
Please test and send me your .logs, which can be found in the c:\Windows\LDraw folder, if you encounter any errors.

Thanks, w.
