Concerning the inner edge lines on the bushloc primitives, when paired with axleho primitives you end up getting edges where you do not want them. My proposal is to move those edge lines to a new primitive, bushloc5 and also create another primitive bushloc6 where the edge lines math up with the axleho primitives. Is this desirable or should the primitives and the parts that use them be kept the way they are?

My second day ever with LDraw.org - didn´t know about the existence until yesterday, but better late than never

My question is: When I´m working in LDCad, I have the possibility to search for a brick, but I have to do it in the right category, but that takes up a lot of time whem I'm new, to figure out where that is.
So, is there a way to do a meta-search, where I can do a search in every category in one place and then get a list of results from each category where let's say 2x4 or propeller exists? Or maybe even better - do a search with the official LEGO-number like 2569 (it's an atenna)?

Hopefully some of you can help me, and I'm sorry if this has already been answered, but I haven't found it.

I am working on "modern" Duplo figure parts... so I am looking for a proper set of qualifier for the various variants. The one I'm doing is called "LEGO Ville" on Bricklink, (eg. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/cat...47394pb021) but there are many older variants!

I decided to do a few parts from the LDD leftovers. One of the is the BB-8 body, part 20953.

When doing it in the usual 16  segment, I find it too rough, not giving an eye-pleasing result. However making it 48 segments seems a bit too many, as the number of (plain) surfaces on the sphere would be around 720. I tried with 32 segments for a circle now and this is the result below. Note, that the print is 48 segments.

Hi guys, i'm relatively new to designing Lego models, and I'm missing some essential information on some important and maybe simple to do things like this, so I decided to ask for help. 

I'm using LDCad and it is amazing, but for the first time I encountered a part that is not in the library, because it is from 2017 sets. I updated LDCad with the latest version, but I don't think this is what needs to be done as part is still not there. I downloaded latest parts from the site as well, but am not sure how to or if I am at all able to install them into LDcad.

Could you please provide me with some guidelines how to add missing parts into LDCad 1.6a?
