LDView 4.4 Beta 1 test release

I have posted a test release for LDView 4.4 Beta 1 to GitHub:
https://github.com/tcobbs/ldview/release...v4.4_Beta1
This release fixes a number of problems that were found in the previous Alpha 6 test release. However, it is still a test release.
The 32-bit Windows installer is forthcoming. (No one asked for one of those for the Alpha 6 release, so I'm not sure how many people would use it.)
The ChangeHistory.html file that is included in the release lists all of the changes since LDView 4.3. In the macOS version, ChangeHistory.html is in the dmg. In the Windows version, ChangeHistory.html gets installed to wherever you install LDView (C:\Program Files\LDView by default). I'm actually not sure where it goes in the Linux version. Please see the Alpha 6 announcement linked above for a list of what I feel are the most important changes relative to LDView 4.3. As mentioned, this Beta 1 release fixes bugs found in Alpha 6.
Please let me know about any problems you find. The preferred way to do that is with LDView's GitHub Issues tracker. However, if you do not want to create a GitHub account so that you can do that, you can reply to this message.

[LPub3D] Strange behavior with Unofficial and Custom Parts

First off, has anyone heard from Trevor? I noticed that he hasnt been online in a few months.
Secondly, I am having all sorts of trouble with the PLI and assembly images resolving correctly.
I have a model created in Studio and saved as an LDR. I know that this used to be an issue for LPub3D but I had seen that Trevor had added this functionality at some point late last year.
From there I use a LOT of custom parts in my trains. I have tried going back an using the portable versions for windows all the way back 2.3.10 and have had issues with each one.
The cleanest example is that when I use 15335p03 it will show in the assembly but not the PLI.
I am a bit lost and a bit frustrated.
I have also made sure to follow the advice here for custom parts:
https://forums.ldraw.org/thread-20962.html
I have attached a screen shot of the step with 15335p03

My daughter has started playing Lego Friends and Disney Princess from several months before.
She says "kawaii (cute)" for the mini-dolls and Lego is one of her favorite things.
Of course I cannot afford every sets, so I'd like to build Friends, Disney Princess, Elves and DC Super Hero Girls sets in LDraw.
Some of them are built by Philo and in the official models thread
https://forums.ldraw.org/thread-13605.html
https://forums.ldraw.org/thread-22103.html
As there are a number of missing parts in the parts library, I'll list up them here.
Needless to say, I'd like to author them as many as I can, but I'll be pleased if the community helps.
(Edit: 2021-06-20)

Hello! New to this forum but not to Lego.
I'd like to save images of pieces / builds at various angles. The SAVE command seems to be what I want, but I can't seem to make it work.
I've created an .ldr file like this:
1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 3001s01.dat
0 SAVE
0
but when I load it into leocad, it doesn't seem to do anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm working to create a documentation sub section of the main site. I don't remember who did the one you see at the top of all of our pages. If the original author or someone else wants to create new colors for us that would be great:
Currently we have:
Red: Centralised LDraw Resources
Blue: LDraw Discussion Forum
Green: LDraw Parts Tracker
Yellow: LDraw Parts Requestor (Not in use)
I'd like three new ones:
LDraw Wiki
LDraw Documentation
LDraw Official Model Repository
Note the "tm" in the upper right corner. That is required. Colors are up for discussion. I'd like the final product to be as close to the original as possible. Any substantial redesigns will be entertained but they will also need to be discussed by the community at large. The final product needs to be fairly high resolution as I'm looking to do printed material (like new LUG banners) as well
Will also need new favicons and just the fade-in brick in the new colors.

I've been doing a lot of tinkering with the main site templates recently. Mostly to streamline the HTML and sync the templates between the Main site and Parts Tracker better (Right now if I want to make a change across the PT and Main site I have to edit like 4 or 5 different files, I'd like to to be one or maybe two).
If something looks broken, it probably is. Check again a little bit later and if it's still not fixed, post here to let me know.

Part 4210 (hose reel)

Part 4210 (ex-4208) says it needs teeth. It also needs the holes through the drum spindle.
If anyone has the real part handy:
- How many teeth should it have? I think 40, but it's hard to tell from photos alone. (The similar part 2585 has 32.)
- What's the diameter and position of the hole? (In 2585 it's 6 LDU diameter and centered 5.5 from the inner flange.)
