Since I didn't actually test the upload capability, here it goes. Note that this may or may not adhere to the OMR spec. I didn't check.
Edit 1 - Now OMR Spec compliant

Jude Wrote:Yeah, one of the first things I do when starting a new model is I check to see which greys were used via bricklink and/or Peeron. Then I check to make sure the greys in color-bar (in MLCad) are set correctly, so that I can use them (these are edit-able, if you didn't know). No, I did not and did not find a way to do so. Could you explain?
Orion Pobursky Wrote:Ok. The alias parts thing is frustrating for a number of reasons:
- No way for me to not include them in my library since I work on the Mac OSX platform so the complete.exe install file for the library is not something I can use (not that I would anyway).

Quote:The user (Model author) uploads the model to the LDraw forum and if there was a public discussion the admin mirrors it to the OMR 7 days (or later) after the last post in this discussion. For the event there hasn't been any discussion the upload should be done 7 days (or later) after the initial post. After the upload is done, the model file shall be deleted, so that the forum doesn't clutter that much.

So I'll say that this model would have been incredibly frustrating without LDCad. The set bin and flexible part functionally make this build enjoyable. Also, don't import this model directly into Studio. I had to separate the flex object files into their own custom parts for it to load correctly.

Missing: 1x8 tile with Las Vegas, 1x2 tile with Welcome to Las Vegas sign
Notes: The pharaoh headdress is set to gold, it should be changed to tan when the part is fixed.

Notes: There are 4 flex axles inside the core of the rightmost building. I left these out with a place holder note since they are non-visible in the finished model and would add a significant amount to the file size.

Edit: Also need to make the U.S. Flag tile

(2020-06-07, 5:55)N. W. Perry Wrote: I don't think so. We're all caught up with the nameplates, looks like you finished up what was missing from Tokyo…and everything from Trafalgar Square got done as well (but we're waiting on a new color for two of those parts).
I'll have the Paris model done before long, at least without the arches under the Eiffel Tower. :-( (I don't know why they couldn't just keep the flex axles instead…)

I'm going through the LPC tutorials, and I feel like one of Philo's hacks should work here, but it's possible he'll need to invent another one.
