61678 and 41749/41750 overlap

61678 and 41749/41750 overlap

Looks like we need to adjust either 61678 or 41479/41750 as they currently overlap and shouldn't.

Tricky one Sad
official parts, patterned/stickered parts, other compatibility to consider...

Probably 61678 that needs to be adjusted.

Looks like 1 pattern and 4 stickers for 61678 (plus shortcuts)

If that one changes, the similar part 39606 need the same change too.

Which part do you mean? I cannot find 39606.

Sorry. I flipped the two first digits. I mean 93606. It's the 2x4 version of 61678.

I propose to modify the top (and side chrd) of 93606/61678 using the following procedure:
- Rotate it by arcsin(20/80)=14.4775°
- scale the curve in y direction by 0.7644
- Rotate back by -14.4775°
This way we flatten the curve and follow the one of 41750. Benefit of using a mathematical procedure is that we can apply it to patterns without breaking them.
Code:
1 16 10 116.29494599103998803316728557974 31.490267046659552477501919974163 0 -20 0 -116.29494599103998803316728557964 0 9.122478426125247757831783698656 8.509732953340447522498080025883 0 -157.64458619863203130008139786518 48\1-12cylo.dat
What do you think?

I think there is more to this:

It seems that 46413 and 41749 are done with 42022 in mind
45705 looks to be more in line with 61678

Do we need to change 45705 as well?

Any more interactions of those parts? Trying to think which other ones would be affected.

I will scan both parts tomorrow, to check the exact measurement.

Here's the overlay, looks like the 4 x 1 is closer to the original

41749/41750 are now in the PT and in need of an overhaul.

How should we continue?

I would go for an adaptation toward the curve of the 61678 (1 x 4)

There are no stickered parts in the library for 42022/41762, so also adapting those would not be too much of an impact, or did I overlook something?
