Thumbs Up Part request, part 80179
Posted by: Alfred Schmitz - 2026-03-07, 7:21 - Forum: Part Requests - Replies (2)

Hello everyone,

In some vehicles, the spoon (minifigure, utensil spoon – handle with flat end (Bricklink)), part 80179,
is used as an exterior mirror.
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/cat...=80179#T=C

I would be delighted if this spoon could be implemented for LDraw.

Many thanks in advance and best regards,

Alfred

LDraw.org 2026-02 Parts Update Now Available
Posted by: Orion Pobursky - 2026-03-06, 4:47 - Forum: LDraw.org Announcements - Replies (5)

The 2026-02 LDraw Parts Update has been released. This update adds 187 new files to the core library, including 107 new parts and 4 new primitives.

Thanks are due to all the part authors who created or corrected parts for this release. The small, but dedicated, band of reviewers also play an important role in keeping files moving through the Parts Tracker and deserve just as much credit. This update wouldn't have been possible without their dedication and attention to detail.

You can preview the new parts in 2026-02 here, and download the zip-file update or Windows install package here.

Thank you to all the testers and parts authors who continue giving feedback on the PT software. This project would not be what it is without your help.

Torso + hip shortcut?
Hip + legs shortcut?
A sitting down shortcut for both minifigs (normal/mid legs)?”

mpd2glb - LDraw to GLTF converter
Posted by: Carlos Antelo - 2026-03-03, 23:51 - Forum: LDraw File Processing and Conversion - Replies (4)

Hi there,

I've just released an initial version of mpd2glb, a node.js tool for converting from packed .mpd models to GLTF binary format (.glb).

The ouput models are world-size, i.e. centimetres in size, not LDUs, to make them consistent with other non-LDraw GLTF models with different dimensions.

The tool is already available at: https://github.com/anteloc/mpd2glb

Cheers!  Smile

Hello,

With version v1.7 beta 2a, I no longer have the automatic part snapping feature.
Is there a specific configuration for this new version ?

Thank you
