Rotation in LDraw

I have loved working with LDraw, but I have noticed there are not enough rotation points when rotating a part or model.
Example would be when tiling a panel or windscreen or when builing a model with wheels that are built higher in the back.
If there were another rotation point between each of the current rotation angels now it would be great.
Anyone else experienced this need?

Hi, i have a question: are faces considered double sided in parts that are not "BFC certified"?
For example i'm rendering part 6595 and it renders wrong, it's not certified as far as i can see.

Lpub error: Mingwm10.dll not found

I just installed Lpub4, but when I try to open the program I get the following error:
This application has failed to start because Mingwm10.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
I tried to re-install the program but I keep getting the same error. Can anyone help me get this program working?
Thanks
Justin

Lines not on edges

Is there some rule or recommendation against lines (type 2) not matching real edges of triangles or quads?
With this, I mean, for instance, lines that pass through some vertices, such as a line between (0,0,0) and (2,0,0), when the polygon's edges are (0,0,0)-(1,0,0) and (1,0,0)-(2,0,0). Or a set of lines that simply draw a figure inside a polygon.
Are these allowed or should I split the polygons or lines so that every line matches an actual polygon edge?
