  parts 1941 vs 20612
Posted by: Franklin W. Cain - 2025-06-06, 17:54 - Forum: Parts Authoring - Replies (1)

Part 20612 (and its sub-file) should have its Title updated to indicate this part has a hollow stud.

New(ish) part 1941 is mostly identical to 20612, save that 1941 has an open stud.

I did not find part 1941 on the Parts Tracker, so I modified a copy of the DAT code from 20612 to make this new part. I intend to upload these two new files to the Parts Tracker shortly.

  Request for part: 69953pb02
Posted by: Vinson - 2025-06-03, 3:23 - Forum: Part Requests - No Replies

Hi all

I know I can substitute this part: 69953pb02 (Aircraft Fuselage Forward Top Curved 6 x 10 x 4 with 2 Window Panes) with part 87613, but 87613 is really old. Again, it's odd that the Studio has the bottom part 5122 but not the top (69953pb02). Is there any chance that I can get part 69953pb02?

Thanks heap!

Arin's Ninja Mask Headpiece from Dragons Rising

I've been looking for this piece for so long. I haven't been able to find it on LDraw or Mecabricks or any other site. If anyone can get me this file it would be greatly appreciated.

Texture specs are without an example

We need a fully working texture example (preferable a tile or something small) at the end of the specs:

showing how a code should look like. The explanation at the top is not enough. Please post something below.

Decals and Stickers in a more mainstream format
Posted by: Seth Blackbrick - 2025-05-29, 4:04 - Forum: LDraw File Processing and Conversion - Replies (3)

Does anyone know of a repo of minifigure decals in a useable format like .png?

I've been working on a fan game for some time and I'm trying to get character customization going. Ideally I would have a folder full of all the decals for the torso, legs, face etc. which I can map onto the player model with shaders, but I cant find a reliable method to grab the images from the Ldraw files or Studio. I took a dive into the .dats and couldn't see any light at the end of that tunnel.

The only method that has worked has been to export from MecaBricks into blender, which gives a great map like the one attached, but I'll be damned if I have to do that 100s of times over with varying results.

Any help on this would be much appreciated, I have something cooking and it's going to be hot.

Hi,

Is it possible to get these new parts, so I can start working on adding them to another set as a modification;

Perhaps they can be extracted from the lego instructions app.

  LDCAD about Add custom parts

After adding the custom parts, is there a way to refresh the software directly instead of closing it and reopening it? Or is it possible to refresh the software by scripting?
