Does this pin and connector exist?
Posted by: Fredrik Hareide - 2023-01-14, 8:11 - Forum: Parts Authoring - Replies (3)

Hi,

Does the pin and connector from the new animals exist in Ldraw?

https://rebrickable.com/parts/77071/anim...h-8-studs/

It's on the elephant and dinosaurs for example.

Wasn't able to find it

Thanks in advance

  MLCad.ini 2022-06 update now available
Posted by: Willy Tschager - 2023-01-13, 13:58 - Forum: LDraw.org Announcements - No Replies

Hi folks,

I just updated the MLCad.ini file accordingly to the latest LDraw.org parts update 2022-06. The .ini file defines (among other things) the parts available in MLCad's, LEOCad's and Bricksmith's minifigure generator.

Download the file from my website: http://www.holly-wood.it/mlcad/mlcad_ini-en.html

Bye, w.

  Part 4809 subfile mentioning
Posted by: Leon de Jong - 2023-01-13, 13:48 - Forum: General LDraw.org Discussion - Replies (5)

L.S,

On the parts tracker looking at Unofficial File parts/4809.dat, there's no Required (unofficial) subfile mentioned. But the part uses s\4247as02.dat
I got it resolved myself but I thought I'd mention it.

Cheers,

Leon

ps. The subfile is present in the ldrawunf.zip so when you download the bulk it's no problem and you'd probably won't even notice.

Hello everyone!
In Studio, part 38801 is missing.
Could it be accomplished?
Greetings!

  Access issues?
Posted by: Cam's Bricks - 2023-01-12, 12:12 - Forum: General LDraw.org Discussion - Replies (2)

Hello, I can see the "parts tracker discussion" sub forum but when I went to reply to a thread, I was given a dialog that indicates I dont have permission to reply.

I was trying to view the new parts tracker beta and received a Server 500 Error.

I further tested it and I cannot reply to that thread or any other in the Parts Tracker Discussion area.

Train tracks branching 2859c# 2861c# and curve 74747
Posted by: Sylvain Sauvage - 2023-01-11, 21:10 - Forum: Parts Tracker Discussion - Replies (2)

Hi all,

In this thread on the Studio forum, people are annoyed that one can’t make in-system/stud-aligned parallel tracks with those parts in Studio.

As there’s (still) problems with the 12V tracks connectors, I thought it was also a connection problem, and the devs tried to correct the connectors… but it’s actually the geometry that leads to the mis-alignement (and it can’t be cheated by moving the connectors).

There’s also comments/questionnings in the tracker (lastly from Steffen) about the accuracy of the geometry.

So,—and all this is just for info, I’m certainly not demanding anything—, can these parts make in-system/stud-aligned parallel tracks in real life?  And is someone working on them or thinking about it?

Allotment 3D - my game with ldraw files
Posted by: Lenny - 2023-01-11, 21:06 - Forum: All Other Programs. - Replies (1)

Hello!

I would like to thank all of them, who helped me during creating this simple game (few months ago I registered here to get some hints with using LDCad and ldraw files in order to create game).

There was no spectacular success, but my nephews had a little fun playing this game Smile

Game is available online:
https://pdzoc.github.io/Allotment3D

Additional info in readme file: https://github.com/Pdzoc/Allotment3D
If you have GH account I will be very pleased when you give a star to the repo. Fell free to make an issue if you want criticize this project Wink I know it's veery simple - I'm not a proffesional dev.

Thank you, folks!

This thread is for questions regarding the Beta PT
Please report bugs to Github unless they are minor in nature.

Link for those who missed the announcement in the year in review post:

First question:
On the part submit page: are the radio buttons to select the folder preferred or would a select/dropdown be better?
