Information Parts Rendering Rrror
Posted by: End Unsure - 2023-02-12, 20:42 - Forum: LDraw Editors and Viewers - Replies (6)

LDCad is having some error displaying parts, sides tend to be flat or missing, pegs are often not visible. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both Ldraw and LDCad a few times. This computer previously had no Ldraw programs on it at all. I'm really at a loss. Anyone got any ideas of what I need to do to fix this?

  Jabba the Hutt [sw0071]
Posted by: Phillip - 2023-02-10, 18:31 - Forum: Part Requests - Replies (9)

Hello. I was unable to find this minifigure in the part tracker. If you guys could make this it would be awesome. Below I will provide some images and a link to a YouTube video for a video reviewing a set that came with this minifigure. If anyone has questions or need other photos, let me know. Part 40379 and 40396 is already in the part tracker. [Sand Green Dinosaur Tail / Neck Base Section S-Curve with Black Technic Pin, Sand Green Dinosaur Tail End Section / Horn]

40396: https://library.ldraw.org/official/7549
40379: https://library.ldraw.org/official/7541

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5yH_boL...roductions [6:29]

Jabba the Hutt comes in 3 pieces according to bricklink.

Here is the end tail piece:

Here is the piece that the end tail attaches to. This pieces also connects into the main body with a technic link.

Here is the front:

In the Youtube video the arm is described as a arm larger that a regular arm. The arm is still able to move. The hand piece is a little more detailed. I do not know if the hand piece is molded with the arm or it is detachable:

Here is the back:

Another front picture with the minifigure assembled:

Here is the bottom of the minifigure to attach it to a plate or other piece:

And finally here is a graph I made to describe the minifigure:

Does Part tracker have any kind of api available to general public? If so, where can documentation on it be found?

Important: "Missing" part submission causing unexpected errors
Posted by: Orion Pobursky - 2023-02-07, 15:25 - Forum: Parts Tracker Discussion - Replies (1)

https://github.com/ldraw-org/ldraworg-library/issues/81

Something is going wrong when a replacement for a "Missing" part is submitted and causing an erroneous event to be generated.

Until I can fix this bug, do not submit a replacement for a part listed as "Missing".

  Any iOS apps out there?
Posted by: N. W. Perry - 2023-02-05, 23:51 - Forum: LDraw Editors and Viewers - Replies (1)

Guys, I'm in trouble. I fired up LDCad while my son was playing with his real LEGO, and showed him how I could build the same minifigs. Now all he wants to do is build an entire Minecraft world in LDraw instead of his actual bricks!

Problem is, he doesn't quite know how to work a real computer (he's 5), and besides, to do what he wants would require him to take over my computer for hours and days and months on end and I'll never be able to play myself get any work done. Cry But he does have an old iPad, and I know there have been a couple of different LDraw apps for iOS over the years. Question is, are any of them still available/maintained? They don't even have to be up-to-date for the latest version; in fact it's probably better if they're a little obsolete. :-)

Help!?

  Part Tracker Not Working
Posted by: Phillip - 2023-02-05, 19:30 - Forum: Help - Replies (2)

I was browsing forums and clicked on a part I found. It said 500 Server Error. I also tried accessing the part tracker directly from the website but again it said 500 Server Error. Does anyone know why?

  Requesting Missing Mars Mission Parts
Posted by: Chris Koppa - 2023-02-05, 13:18 - Forum: Part Requests - Replies (8)

Greetings!

Requesting these parts commonly used in any sets of the Mars Mission theme:

58844 Torso/Head Martian With Chest Hole

58845 Leg Martian Rounded

59492 Projectile Launcher, Foam Dart Launcher, Four Barrel

58947 Cylinder 9x4x2 Tapered with Flat bottom, Pinholes / "Tube End"

58843 Martian Hypersled with Pin (Mars Mission)

62723 Torso/Head Martian With Chest Hole, Alien Commander (don't know if that's its exact number)

62724 Arm/Leg Mechanical, Alien

It seems the first four parts listed are available as a raw LCad 3D model, which I needed most for the moment. The other parts aren't even in the digital-bricks list though. If anyone knows any place where I can at least find their 3D models it'd be most appreciated.

I am currently working on a project about the 2007-2008 theme Mars Mission. Building the Models for later use in Blender has been done with Bricklink's Stud.io 2 so far when I have learned that a lot of iconic Mars Mission parts where missing in their library. It's weird how these parts are nonexistent in any part libraries I have found so far. Then after some research I found out that it's technically you guys running the entirety of digital LEGO building with your parts library. No matter if some Mars Mission parts are missing: Thank you, you're awesome.

  Part Tracker Access
Posted by: Orion Pobursky - 2023-02-04, 23:36 - Forum: Parts Tracker Discussion - Replies (11)

I have been made aware that some people are having trouble accessing the Parts Tracker with every link giving a 500 error. If this is that case for you, try deleting any ldraw.org cookies stored in you browser and try again.

There's some sort of problem going on with the script that checks if you're logged into the forums. I can see the errors in the log but it works for most users so I'm having trouble finding the source of the issue.
