LPub model & parts wont fit on page

LPub model & parts wont fit on page
#1
When I load my model in LPub the main assembly appears in a very small box in the center of the page and I can only see part of it. Changing the margins and scale does not seem to help. Also the parts list does not fit in its box either. The parts are too big and I only see a fraction of one of the parts. Is there some kind of "zoom to fit" option?
Thanks
Justin

Hi all,
I am a new LPub user and new member to the forum. I am having the same problem as described above. My assembly and parts list images only partially fit in a small boxes. I have been searching all day and this is the only reference I could find to the problem I am having. Can anyone help with a solution?
Thanks,
Jon

...and I guess that the code is shown completely on your screenshot? Then I see no reason why you see this behaviour. Could you nonetheless share your MLCad code so that I see the result here? Then we'll try to see why it behaves strangely on your machine.

I've tried a couple of simple .ldr files and get the same result each time.
Thanks again.

Mmhhh... as expected it works as it should here. What version of LPub do you use? Where did you got it? What renderer do you use, LDView or LDGlite? (choice in Configuration -> Preferences) Could you try the other one?

Do you use 'Reference Sets' in LDRAW? (see right-most tab in LDView)

As Philo asked, what is your verison of LPUB?

Did you try to change the assembly scale and the PLI scale?

I am using LPub 4.0.0.11. I have re-installed everything using the most recent AIOI in the last week. When I use LDGlite it works without problem (I hadn't installed it previously).

When using LDView I have the same problem as originally posted. If I change the Assembly and PLI scales I can see the whole part, only it appears very small, as you would expect from reducing the scale.

The LDGlite solution works, although I would still like to know why I can't get LDView to work like seemingly everyone else can.

I don't know what would cause this, but I would suggest deleting LDView's registry key. (Note the registry "key" is in fact more like a whole directory tree, but that's what it's called.) To do this, do the following:
  • Hit Windows+R (hold down the windows key, and while doing this hit R)
  • Enter regedit in the box and hit OK/run/go (whatever the OK button is labeled)
  • Say yes if you get a User Account Control prompt
  • Browse on the left to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Travis Cobbs\LDView and select the LDView entry.
  • Select Delete from the Edit menu
  • Confirm you want to delete the LDView key
  • Exit from regedit

If you have either LDView 4.1 or LDView 4.2 Beta 1 installed, and the above doesn't work, then I don't know what to say.
