Thumbs Up
Hello everyone,

my name is David and i want to design an educational model with 9686 set (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?S=9686-1).

I don't be able to find any of the figures in bb278 sheet.

here it is a link to BrickLink for this sheet:  http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=bb278

Anyone can help me? Any idea where can I find them?

Thanks in advance.

David

Hello David,
These parts would be very easy to create (at least a flat version)... provided we get the dimensions! If you have the parts and a flat bed scanner, post here a scan of these parts (no need for ultimate resolution, 200dpi is enough), I'm sure someone will create the LDraw models.

Note - I have the panels from 7471 Mars rover set, they are 1.5 ldu thick.
Note2 - proper design number for bb278 is 57046 (item 4493536), 7471 Mars rover set is 47521 (item 4207646) - Thanks, Joshua!

Hello Philippe,

I scan all the pieces of the bb278, in A4 size (21x29 cm). You can find in the next link.

In other hand, i can't find 57046 in LDraw parts tracker.

Thanks again.

Looks perfect! but (I'm not used to G+), how do I download the full resolution image, it seems I can only get a reduced size image, instead of your original full size one?

I meant, when the parts are done, they will get this part number as base (57046a, 57046b... and so on).

Philippe,

It's forbidden attach jpg file format in the forum. I put it with .dat, but you must to rename to .jpg to open.

Thanks.

Here is the first one...

I finally named it "b" because it's the medium sized triangle. Attached the LPC file I used to create it, maybe it will be useful to other guys: I'm kind of busy these days, so I hand on the torch to anyone with some more free time...

The description has to be changed to match with its current dimensions. Honestly, I don't know which unit I should use for that purpose..
