Request for vintage tail bb96 (bb0096)

Request for vintage tail bb96 (bb0096)
#1
Hi there,

is there an advanced part designer who can provide for use in Studio the
Vintage tail bb96

I'm missing it badly for a MOC, but I haven't the talent to design parts.

In most cases this part originates in set 698-1.
I varied a badly yellowed one of them by painting it in yellow and
attached a „condor“ decal on it.

the tail itself looks a lot like 4867.dat

but what about the base? does anyone own that part for good pictures /measurements?
does a 1x1 roundbrick fit to the round air inlet at the front?

Hello: I found the following video https://youtu.be/C0Yhepz7n64?feature=shared. Hope it helps on the model design.

I own three of these and can deliver measurements tonight. Actually the front hole is bigger than a standard stud. So nothing can be fixed here. Also the length and width is unusual.
I will add photos later today.

All the best

Do you have a picture from above and especially below (anti-studs)?

and the measurements of the body width.

Yes, some pictures got lost somehow. Here they are:

I'm also looking forward to seeing this part on LDraw and creating JAL jetliner (set 698).

Do you have more pictures of the "step" at the bottom?
Is the main top cylinder just slanted or conical too?
are all of your parts printed or are there stickered ones too?

I couldn't even find the printed ones on Bricklink/Rebrickable/Brickowl.

Almost all there seem to be stickered (as usual with real world company logos). I am curious about the printed ones Big Grin

Also some images seem to suggest the end of the cone often got a plain black sticker to suggest the engine outport?

Is someone already working on this?
Out of curiosity I made a quick attempt (before having the real measurements), but stopped working on it, as I realized the primitives usage would be a bit more complicated than I first thought Confused
