Part Request: Formed & Floating version of 38301 Cape

Part Request: Formed & Floating version of 38301 Cape
#1
Hey there, I would personally like to see a floating version of Part 38301: Minifigure Cape Cloth Scalloped with 6 Points.

The reason why I'm asking for this variant is because my Mojo Jojo minifigure's cape makes the grid base in BrickLink Studio sink.

Thank you for reading.

What I'm trying to say is that I would like a new variant of this cape part file that is floating and angled about 15 degrees upward. Would that be possible? I need a floating variant for my Powerpuff Girls LEGO Ideas project.

To make sure... which one, left or right?

no, I think he wants one with horizontal neck piece and then slightly down like the right one...

Maybe only bend the tips of the scalloped "fingers" so the he can stand on the floor?

Exactly this! That's what I wanted.

What do we do, change existing unofficial one, or create another cape shape?

Eh, creating another cape shape would be the best option, especially for short-legged minifigures like Mojo Jojo.

Hello: in my opinion the problem is with the "bounding box" of the cape in Stud.io. So, it is best to let the Ldraw part untouched and work with a copy in Blender. Then import, as .obj, to Part Designer and finaly to Stud.io.
Do this until the "floating problem" disappears.

Thanks a bunch. However, I need to make sure the cape doesn't make the grid sink in Studio first.

UPDATE: I added the files to Studio, and the cape is perfect! Thank you very much!
