How long will it be before the 9Volt switches are included in the official parts. Getting them from unofficial takes a really long time and hurts production.

That's a good question. Actually some parts have a hold vote and need to be fixed. This will be done, when one of the part authors is in the mood to do this (and has time to to this).
I don't believe, that it will be included in the next update.
If you want to accelerate things feel free to start parts authoring.

as these are VERY complex parts, I suggest to do an incremental approach here:
let's fix their principal geometry first. This means: where are their connecting points for other tracks,
and at which angle.
once we have nailed that, let's release them in a parts update with a "(Needs Work)" in their title.
this way people can start using them in their models, although they have not reached our otherwise required perfection level of parts.
we should then re-upload them to the PT to fix their remaining stuff (BFC errors, missing edges, whatever).
I suggest to treat this as an exception to our normal procedure.
is anybody with me?
merry christmas, everybody, by the way.
