No, I think that's wrong. This assembly is known as 14397 in LDD and we usually pick that number.

Bricklink use 14396c01
Rebrickable use 14397pr001. I think 14379 is a typo at Rebrickable
Brickset have 14398 on one of the pattern designs, the first gingerbread man from the CMF.

To reduce clutter what do you think of:

The "Sandwich" 14396:

• Name it with a tilde "~" to stop it from showing,
  
• Upload only an unprinted version
  

The "Assembly" 14397:

• will consist of a 14396s01 without the surface
  
• will have the pattern
  
• will be named pxx to get the proper overview
  
• will get the "Filling" 13733 in the appropriate colour, respectivley colour 16 when filling and cover are the same.
  

Any benefit for adding the pattern on 14396 first? This will add a few more (invisible) files
