Do you mean that the computer itself spent 2 days rendering the content?
The one I'm working on takes my 4 year old Macbook about 15 minutes to generate all the images and HTML (using a bash script). The PDF output I got from printing from web browsers didn't look good; I didn't try importing into OpenOffice, though.
I have spent a fair amount of time on and off over a number of days working on the script, so if you did everything, including writing the tools to generate the output in two days, that's good.
The file looks really nice. It's paginated quite nicely, which is something I didn't get when trying to use web browsers.
