Yeah, that's where I'm at too. I'm going through the LPC tutorials, and I feel like one of Philo's hacks should work here, but it's possible he'll need to invent another one. (Maybe we can motivate him with the fact that it's another French landmark!)

Just a curious tidbit I noticed: while the part is authored correctly as far as having the "spokes" of the pattern aligned vertical and horizontal, the official building instructions show them rotated 15 degrees so that the negative spaces—petals, if you like—are orthogonal.
This actually has a historical basis: apparently, the rose windows were indeed aligned at this angle when originally built. It wasn't until the restoration project of the mid-19th century that they were reoriented so that the spokes are vertical and horizontal as they are today.
However, since the finished build shows the post-restoration conditions, it is still an anachronism.
