I am missing some pics on the shape of the lip when it touches the curved slope...

You didn't put this on PT right? Couldn't find it. Saw a question about the part on fb and had seen your post here.

No, i did not put it on the PT, as it was a draft, I am back now with more time to dedicate and can finish it for the tracker.

Edit: I saw there were some more requests, I put it immediately in my queue for cleaning.

Edit II: It is uploaded on PT https://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.c.../80567.dat

I am working on applying the pattern on 385:
https://www.ldraw.org/parts/official-par...partid=385
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/cat...5D#T=C&C=6

While trying to apply the pattern i found an error in the official file (one side of the T has only 17 studs instead of 18).

Does anyone have the sets/the baseplate alone? I am not sure about the width of the road.

I think the sticker should get a seperate u-number. With the patterns then being uxxxxpyyy.dat

Orion should give you a number

We've already assigned a number: 325. The patterns should be 325pXX.
Stickers with unknown number should be s<x> with x being next number available.

use the ring-prim only at the ends of the part, in the middle use ndis and fill up with triangles/quads (see pink areas), then theres no overlap

Ok, I'm in way over my head here so I'll just wait for someone to put it on the parts tracker (someone will do it eventually anyhow)
I don't have any tools such as blender or anything like that, I am trying (probably rather foolishjly) creating parts from LDRAW script alone.

Here it is, I do not know the number of the part.

You need to get used to LDPE, then it is a breeze to do them.

Hi: I attach two files (as examples) of what I do. Both of them lack the description because don't know what to use: Bricklink, Rebrickable, Brickowl, or "my creativity".
Also the dimensions of the texmap, my gess, need to be corrected.
In general, don't know if I'm doing this the right way.

Looks all good to me, except that using hires chrd/cyli is overkill at that size. Texmap resolution look OK too? The only thing I would do would be to create 2 subparts (1 for bottom/sides, 1 for top) as they are common for all stickers. BL description seems to make sense.

Remains the question of fallback patter. img4dat makes a good work here, here are unretouched results for your images.

Philippe: Thank you for your advise. I will change the prims in the corners to standard resolution. All the images (in these case, 195 img) are extrated from the Lego Builder App and are 512px with the only exception of one, it's 128px. Also, i take your suggestion: split in 2 subparts.
May I need to stand on the texmap format or I change to img4dat?

It's much easier, and the resolution is potentially better (despite it being a raster). But the common wisdom has always been that LDraw geometry is preferred except where impractical (I think because of varying support among different viewers/editors).

Better still, though, would be improvements to the LDraw format and/or editors to a) increase the precision and resolution of LDraw vector geometry, and b) streamline the conversion process from graphical formats to LDraw format. Rolleyes
