I uploaded a bunch (115) of Sticker scans into my Dropbox, I have not checked yet which ones are done already, but I will clean it. SO whoever feels in the mood of doing some sticker please get them.

All are scanned at 1200 DPI.

  Help required using LDCad
Posted by: Martin Stockton - 2021-11-20, 9:18 - Forum: Help Wanted - Replies (6)

Hi everyone I hope you are all well!
I am relatively new to LDCad and have come across something which is driving me crazy!!!!! It is with regard to the screen layout. when I first started using the program there is a blue, red and green colored graph in the bottom left of the screen and when you hover the mouse over it it gets larger and a box appears around it. But this graph was far enough away from the left hand edge of the screen so that the part selector box ran to the bottom. The graph on my screen has gone right into the bottom left hand corner of the screen which means the part selector box is in front of it I can reduce the size of the part selector box so the graph is visible but that means it is not big enough!
I have tried all ways to bring the graph out to its original position but can't get it to move. Can anyone tell me if and how it can be moved??

  92946 vs. 15672
Posted by: Willy Tschager - 2021-11-14, 12:59 - Forum: Parts Authoring - Replies (6)

Hi,

I'd like to discuss the issue raised in:

https://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.cgi?s=92946

and explained in deep in:

https://rebrickable.com/blog/107/mysterious-slope/

I therefore modified 92946 as well as 15672 by adding a 0.5 LDU gap to the slopes as well as rounding the edges.

Have also a look at the parts:

Slope Plate 45  2 x  1
.dat   15672.dat (Size: 2.86 KB / Downloads: 3)
Slope Plate 45.73  2 x  1
.dat   92946.dat (Size: 2.81 KB / Downloads: 4)

If you're fine with the solution I'm gonna upload the files as well as obsolete the already official:

https://www.ldraw.org/parts/official-par...s/92946s01

as all prints are achieved by stickers.

w.

Hi, I'm new to ldraw and related applications. I've only used studio before, but now that I'm almost done with my dropship (started building physically but quickly changed to using studio) I've realized that I can't find https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/cat...7#T=C&C=66. It isn't on studio, ldd extended, digital-bricks, mecabricks, ldraw, etc. I was going to use it for an engine+landing gear hybrid.

I was able to find reference to it on github as well as here http://www.peeron.com/inv/master.txt, and using the download from https://github.com/remig/lic/blob/master...eights.ini, there is a "weight" but not the part itself.

I planned to present my project digitally without having to actually build it physically, since that would of course take a ton of time and... quite a bit of money haha. It's certainly a bit more complex than your typical part, but thanks for any help.

  Optimize LDRAW File
Posted by: Thomy Thomy - 2021-11-04, 16:56 - Forum: General LDraw.org Discussion - Replies (3)

Hello there.

im trying to build a multiplayer map for a game. I already designed a simple map with a house with the software: "stud.io" (BrickLink) and exported it as .ldraw
Then i imported the file to blender via this plugin: https://github.com/TobyLobster/ImportLDraw

What can i do, to reduce the amount of triangles in my map? Its about 40.000.000 triangles and my game engine allows only 50k !

Is there a way to automatically replace/delete studs and pieces that are "inside" or cant be seen? Or is there a better alternative ?

I've read something about 3DVIA Printscreen, but maybe thats not working for BrickLink Studio.

Thanks for your help!

Thumbs Up Request - LEGO Animal Water - Crocodiles

Part Request

Hello everyone, Rui Fernandes here, I have a request for LEGO Water Animal parts and those are:

- Item nº 78532pb01 - Alligator / Crocodile Baby Hatchling with Blue Eyes Pattern
- Item nº 18905pb03 - Alligator / Crocodile Head Upper Jaw with Yellow Eyes without White Glints Pattern
- Item nº 18904 - Alligator / Crocodile Middle with 10 Lower Teeth
- Item nº 18906 - Alligator / Crocodile Tail with Hole

In the current library, there is only available the Classic Crocodile with 8 Teeth (Item No: 6026c01), I also searched in the Brick Link's Studio 2.0 and Mecabricks library but they also don't have these parts. Only in LDD I found the parts to assemble the big crocodile (Item No: 18904c04pb01). I wonder if anyone in the forum can provide these items. Or if there are currently any plans to bring them to the library.

 - 3D modeling is out of my expertise field but I can help with graphic design. I recreate the eyes prints of the items and created a folder with the SVGs, PNGs, and Ai (Adobe ilustrator) file. I also put the LDD file of the crocodile parts to help as a reference.

  Advice: Shades of Trans.-Blue
Posted by: Franklin W. Cain - 2021-10-27, 22:15 - Forum: MOCs (My Own Creations) - Replies (1)

I need some advice, please, on specific shades of "transparent blue" to be used in a MOC.

I've attached two images, showing the proposed shades to be used for:
* Building Glass
* Free-Standing Water
* Water Spray (from a water fountain)

In the first version, I'm using color-47 for the water spray. In the second version, I'm instead using color-43. In both versions, I'm using color-41 for the glass windows, and color-293 for the free-standing water in the fountains.

Version 1:

Version 2:

At first, I used color-33 for the free-standing water, but it looked just a bit too dark to me. For now, I'm using color-293 instead.

Any thoughts?  Please let me know what you think.

Thanks!  ;-)
Franklin
