Are LSC discussions supposed to move here from the mailing list? Or is this something that the LSC itself is supposed to decide? I don't personally have a problem having LSC discussions here instead of the LSC mailing list.

Yes. The intent is to move discussion here since the current "mailing list" is just a email forwarder and doesn't archive discussion
