The actual link above points to a different location than the link text.

Quote:geometry that set

->

Quote:geometry set

(Or maybe "that is set".)

Quote:Some patterned parts have never been issued as plain, patternless parts by LEGO. This printing is easily removed, and LDraw parts can come in any variety. For the purposes of this document, this plain, patternless part will be referred to as the base part.

I personally feel that the following is better.

Quote:Some patterned parts have never been issued as plain, patternless parts by LEGO. However, this printing is easily removed, and LDraw parts can come in any variety. Because of this, all patterned LDraw parts will also include a patternless variant, even if no such part has ever ben issued. For the purposes of this document, this plain, patternless part will be referred to as the base part.

Quote:if the patterned being modeled

->

Quote:if the pattern being modeled

Quote:is omitted and the keyword Colour Combination

Given that "Colour Combination" is two words, and also given that the very next section is about !KEYWORDS, I feel that "keyword" is inappropriate here. Some alternates:
  • expression
  • phrase
  • term

Quote:All patterned parts shall have at least one of the following keywords: Set <Set Number>, CMF (For Collectible Minifig), or Build-A-Minifigure.

It is somewhat ambiguous if this statement includes dual-molded parts. I don't think it does, but I feel that they should be explicitly excluded:

Quote:All patterned (but not dual-molded) parts shall have at least one of the following keywords: Set <Set Number>, CMF (For Collectible Minifig), or Build-A-Minifigure.

There needs to be an explanation for "pattern number" in the !TEXMAP section.

I feel that the following is confusing:

Quote:Sufficient !TEXMAP <geometry2> and/or <geometry3> lines (as outlined in the Texture Mapping (!TEXMAP) Language Extension) must be included such that the part renders correctly in non-!TEXMAP supporting programs.

Specifically, "renders correctly" to me implies the opposite of the section below where it says that fallback geometry is highly encouraged but not required. (In other words, the intent is to say that it is discouraged but allowed for a texmapped pattern part to show up blank. However, "renders correctly" to me implies that it is not allowed at all.)
