posting it here because i dont want to clutter the parts we are working on thread,

this is one of the missing 2000 parts

there are rounded edges on the letters but i have choose to omit them, maybe a simple triangle chamfer?
also i feel like the logo is way too the right

There's an existing "Star Wars" logo which should be used here.

Don't think there's enough variation to bother. The logo should have been pretty much consistent since 1999 I'd say.

Yes, the logo has the "TM" which is a bit unfortunate.

How about this (needs a bit polish still)?

Just noticed the studs on the base part are rotated wrong...

Update:
Fixed the edgelines, still a few gaps inside the logo though.

are there any issues i should correct first before uploading?
there is a tj between the bottom 2 studs and the top of star but i did that to avoid adding several thin triangles.

Hmm... Okay I admit there are some subtle differences between the 1999 logo and the modern one.

If you really want to go that route, I would prefer for the letters:

*all lines are properly parallel (issues on the A's)
*equal thickness on all lines (issues on W in particular, haven't checked all yet)
*Curves connect tangential to straight lines (issues on both S's)

I think it's still possible to completely reuse the "ST" shape from the older primitive file.
