[Solved] Problem with 2792 (incomplete official part?)

Hi, I've a question about 2792.
I had this part as a kid and I remember that there was a "tooth" in the middle of the part, locking 2791a in given position. But on the LDraw part there's nothing.
You can see the "tooth" here (RB picture) :

My question is : did it exist two versions ofthis part, or is the LDraw version false ?

I search on BL and I got the same part with the tooth :

Can't find any evidense of a part without the locking finger. On the contrary, they all describe the locking function.
It is missing.

anyone here have any messurements of this missing finger and maybe a shape of it so i could add it

@jeff : I don't have acces to the part right now (I'm not sure it's still at my childhouse anyway) a starting point could be to create a draft using 2791a in position, maybe.
