12V Transformers

12V Transformers

Hello, I recently got a Type 2 Transformer for the 12V Trains, should I do that one here in LDraw?
Because then I would also request the Type 1 (the one with the studs on top) including the old automatic switch buttons 7852...

While measuring the connections (already finished the 740 bottom) I found out that the old wide plug is missing:
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/cat...93bc01#T=C
I also found that one, do we need it too?

How should I number the transformers? They have numbers (740 and 741) on the bottom, but both are already taken, is it ok if I name them 740a and 741a?

Are there other numbers embosed on other parts?

If the old plug came with the transformator it should be modeled. Otherwise an existing should be used.

I dont have the other parts (740 seems to be the old roadsign BL bb0139pb01c01/02 and 741 is just the redirect to 641)
But both transformers seem to be named after their respective sets (they are supplemental sets which contain just the transformers).
Both numbers are clearly embossed at the bottom.

The plug BL bb0093a/bc01 fits both sets and is compatible with its newer version 2775c01. It is to connect the rail connector 511c01 or the automatic switch buttons (does anyone have them, they are missing yet).
Which number should that one have (didnt find one).

I already modeled the europlugs too.

Here the attempt of the 741 (yes I know that this one is named wrong and maybe also has a wrong structure...)

Would it be OK if I use u9602-9605 for the 740 and u9612-9615 for 741?
(the structure is very similar: top-bottom-knob-cable)

As stated earlier, in another thread, you need to ask our number admin, Orion, in a mail to  [email protected]

Let me know what number you you want on each part, and maybe I can start renumbering the 740 trafo.

that would be my Idea:

740a.dat to 740ac01.dat
s\740as01.dat to u9602.dat
s\740as02.dat to u9602s01.dat
s\740as03.dat to u9603.dat
s\740as04.dat to u9603s01.dat
s\740as05.dat to u9603s02dat
s\740as06.dat to u9604.dat
s\740as07.dat to u9604s01.dat
s\740as08.dat to u9605s01.dat
s\740as09.dat to u9605s01.dat

and then I will upload u9605.dat with the cable as a part (as of now its made of multiple parts and prims in the final assembly)

Thanks in advance, René

This will have to wait, until Orion has found out a solution the the renumbering bug...

I got all of those messages. I ask that you please be patient. Between the holidays and my very limited time at the moment, I prioritize then things that get my attention.

Which renumbering bug?

Are the numbers OK? Or should I reupload them with the new numbers and you delete the old ones?
Is it OK if I upload the 741? (with a similar structure)

I found a bug in the PT renumber code that is causing weird things to happen in specific instances. I should have it fixed this weekend.
