Just noticed this new part:

It's a 2x2 tile with two quarter round cutouts
or if placed at 45 degrees more than how it is placed in the picture I guess you could call it a 2x2 tile with triangular ends and two round cutouts

Here is a complete loop. Everything lines up very well, once you figure out where to position the first section, before the initial rotation.

Partnumber is 3385. Now on the Tracker.
Hi I tried to download this file and use it in lego studio.io is this not its intended purpose? Because when I import it it's just studs no plates. Also has anyone looked at making the new 1x5 wedge tile from the march 2023 speed champions?

Most probably because you didn't load the subpart
https://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.c...385s01.dat
and placed it in ..\s folder relatively to matin part location.

Tracking down all needed dependencies can be confusing, for sure!
Are there still tools that do this automatically? I feel like there used to be quite a few in the early days of LDraw, but they are no longer actively developed/supported. Or maybe there were only tools to do it on your local library copy, not downloading?

Here's one by Chrstoph
https://forums.ldraw.org/thread-26497-po...l#pid47352
https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.p...-exporter/
Script is located here:
https://www.reum.it/ldraw-to-studio-exporter/index.php
It generates a ZIP File with all the unofficial files, try it, enter 3385 and click search.

If you open a model that uses a missing unofficial part using LDView, by default it will download the part and all missing dependencies into the Unofficial directory inside your LDraw directory. If you need to copy specific files, you could clear the Unofficial directory, then open the model in question, then copy all of the files in Unofficial to wherever is needed for stud.io.
