Stickers across multiple parts (STAMPs)

I think we have a gap in our spec. STAMP shortcuts are not allowed per the spec but placement of this sticker on a model is a nontrivial endeavor without a weird origin.

I see 2 solutions:
- Allow STAMP shortcuts
- Allow cases where the sticker may extend past the edge of the single part used.

I think the latter is the least complex and "better" solution.

I think in this case we have a rule (but it is not followed). Even if it's soft rule:
"The origin of a formed sticker part may match that of the part for which it is intended or be noted in a !HELP header line."

But as Gerald pointed out, there might be cases that are more difficult:  " .... like the Santa Fe Logo. Main attachment point (centrally) would be a 2x2 Tile "

In the Santa Fe, it's the flat front, but with rounded corners, of the locomotive. No STAMP shoutcut needed.
In the Funnel in question here, the origin of the intended brick. No STAMP needed.

That make sense for the sticker in isolation. However, we've already decided to allow sticker shortcuts. I think allowing a shortcut where the sticker extends past the part used is a reasonable change for these cases.

Also, and I'm not sure if there is a set where this happens, what about the case of a non-formed sticker extending across multiple parts in a non-horizontal/vertical plane (e.g. the flat slope part of multiple bricks)?

The Santa Fe Logo is, in my eyes, a pretty easy case, and also easy to place.

The funnel is more difficult to place.

So either
- Get the origin of this sticker in such a way that it is the same of themain slope, to just copy the slope and change the part to have it correctly placed.
- or allow the inclusion of stickers in such cases where the sticker extends past the part.  Given it looks odd in the preview, that might be a proper compromise.
 I would not add all the parts a STAMP covers, that is not what we should encourage.

Having a STMAP covering multple flat surfaces (not in the main planess) again the centre part shall be the defining position.

It is not a STAMP shortcut, but it will apparently violate this regulation in

The topology itself is the same as the funnel sticker.

I agree.
Related to all the already existing flags with sticker, breaking the "no shortcut on flat parts"-rule.
And a very similar antenna 30322, should also be allowed a shortcut

I'm leaning towards no change to the spec. But then we've already opened the sticker shortcut can of worms and this decision point seem overly arbitrary.
