Pattern codes

Would this be the forum to handle pattern code requests? Or is it preferable to just submit parts on our own under the next available, logical code?

Specifically I'd propose to submit two patterns:
26603p06 - Tile 2 x 3 with Dark Tan Squares pattern
4162p1p - Tile 1 x 8 with "Singapore" pattern

Once upon a time they were reserved. Maybe it was easier to coordinate before the PT existed. Now it's first come, first served.
