Complete looking for Bricklink part bb0219

looking for Bricklink part bb0219

Thumbs Up
Hi,
I installed the latest ‘Complete’ library (Parts update 2020-03) and was looking for the following piece:
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/cat...9#T=C&C=85
But can’t find it back in the ‘MLCad – Other Parts\B’ folder, so I guess it’s not yet available in the official library or even not in the Non official parts list on LDraw.org.
Question is, if I want to create this part how should this part be named?

It’s a part that I use for my train wagons in use with the sealed magnet.
So far it’s the only use I found to use this ‘bar / pin’, because the bottom ‘ring’ is too small for a tight fit between 4 studs like you can do with an antenna.

see picture in following link for the principe I use.

I see a small difference in length between the two 'bars with stop' (4.4L & 4.8L).
Are there 2 different lengths in circulation?
I measured one of mine and have a overall length of 35 mm
subtracting 2 mm for the stop leaves 33 mm for the bar / pin.

Yes, there are two versions of this part (https://img.bricklink.com/ItemImage/EXTN/3108.png)
But I made the files from photo measurements, if you have more precise values I can easily correct them!
The 35mm you measured matches well the 4.4L one (35mm is 4.375L)

I notice also the little hole on the bottom of this piece. I measure for this hole a diameter of 1,75mm, 1 mm deep.  Smile
The flat top measure 2mm with a conical height of 1mm.
Your piece is verry usefull for me.
once the sealed magnet is fixed with this bar / pin, I cut it just above the round 1x1 plate with hole, leaving the overall length at minimum 16,2 to 16,5mm.
This leaves enough length to have some play so the sealed magnet can move freely.
Based on your part, I can modify it to a custom piece with the above mentioned length.

Amicalement,
Ludo
