Hello, I wanted to know if extracting 3d files from LDD db using http://www.digital-bricks.de/en/index.ph...v-uersicht 's converter to create dat files is allowed ?

Hello Bertrand,

that converter is not creating LDraw part files (.dat files). And it is not looking into the LDD db.

The converter is reading the model files from the LDD and is creating equivalent model files in LDraw (with the help of the ldraw.xml). In both model files there are only information, where a part has to be located and how its orientations have to be. No part geometry is transferred.

I thought they use the converter to make these files : http://www.digital-bricks.de/en/index.php?site=nil


EDIT : I just notice you're the autor of the converter. double facepalm.
