SAVE command?

SAVE command?
#1
Hello!  New to this forum but not to Lego.

I'd like to save images of pieces / builds at various angles.  The SAVE command seems to be what I want, but I can't seem to make it work.

I've created an .ldr file like this:

1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 3001s01.dat
0 SAVE
0

but when I load it into leocad, it doesn't seem to do anything.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

The SAVE command is one of the early commands used by the original LDraw program, but modern editors are much more advanced and those original commands are essentially obsolete now (except STEP).

An easy way to save images of a model is to open it in LDView and use the Save Snapshot feature.
