This is my first time i make one, here are the files to be tested. i dont know if 0 !LDCAD SNAP_INCL [ref=connhole.dat]  is the correct option for this kind of object.

if it should be updated let me know so we can have this new snap shadows files.

Thanks for trying, but these snapping definitions could be done much easier with normal SNAP_CYL meta's.

e.g 57046d.dat

Code:
0 !LDCAD SNAP_CYL [gender=F] [caps=none] [secs=R 7.5 2] [pos=-60 2 0] [grid=4 1 20 0]

These holes are bigger then a normal pinhole so they won't snap to pins.

But I'm not sure how these parts are usually used in reallife, so you might want to change the above 7.5 into 6 to force them to snap to pins.

Thank you very much i make a little modification about your code i left them like this to make easy the snaping while building a model.
Code:
0 !LDCAD SNAP_CYL [gender=F] [caps=none] [secs=R 6 2]  [pos=0 0 0] [ori=1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1]

This odd pieces are used in the lego 9686 educational kit. i use them to teach kids about areo dynamics.

btw, every time i use it i learn more things. i love the software

yesterday i keep thinking if we can add both snaping option to the same hole. R 6 and R 7.5

something like that. so if you use an axel or connector will snap with R 6 and if there its anything wider use R7 i dont know any pieces that uses R7 ,

Code:
0 !LDCAD SNAP_CYL [gender=F] [caps=none] [secs=R 6 2]  [pos=0 0 0] [ori=1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1]
0 !LDCAD SNAP_CYL [gender=F] [caps=none] [secs=R 7.5 2] [pos=0 0 0] [ori=1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1]

i left it with R6 in all the models to be easy for me to make snap thoes part to axles and connectors.
