Part Numbering

I've authored this part:

First, it seem odd that this is a new part. I swear I've seen it before.

Second, it is very clearly a patterned version of 3004 but Rebrickable and Brickset have it with a unique part number. Bricklink doesn't seem to list it at all. What should submit it as, 45329 or 3004pXX. Also, is Brick 1 x 2 with 24 Medium Stone Rectangles too generic?

Third, avoiding T-junctions is impossible without using a crazy amount of very thin triangles.

So did I, but I guess we are confused by similar patterns like 3009p21.dat

I'm OK with your proposed description. "Brick 1 x 2 with 24 Light Bluish Grey Rectangles Pattern"

I wouldn't mind much since this is an orthogonal lattice and would cause no problem, but I know for sure that some other would object... OTOH the difference in triangle number is not that huge. Granted, thin triangles, but most probably within LDraw specs (http://www.ldraw.org/article/512.html#colinear)
