SR3d Builder Fail

SR3d Builder Fail
#1
After a partial update, I received this error message. How can I get that away?
Deleting and reinstalling alone is not enough

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Maybe it's time to switch to LDCad... that's what I did a long time ago!

Not sure to understand. Some of them are completely unknown to me (ubeamhole.dat), some are plain unofficial primitives (t08q4444.dat http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.cgi?s=t08q4444), some may have been renamed (t04qunit http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.cg...4q1000.dat). Anyway, if you download again complete.zip and all unofficial parts from http://www.ldraw.org/library/tracker/ you should have a consistent library.

These lines are wrong. You can delete the STEP here because a ROTSTEP is, in fact, a STEP.

Unfortunately, I cannot help you with the SR3D failure, since I don't have it and never used it.

This should be valid. I use the trick myself to show a step from multiple angles, such as in step 25 and 26 here: https://brickhub.org/i/r.php?model=124&color=0&step=24

OK, I see. Not sure if this works in LPub3D though. I believe it skips an empty step. Not sure though.

Dunno how LPub3D behaves now, but some time ago it did skip the empty step. The trick was to use a dummy buffer exchange store/recall to fool it.

I have checked: an empty step is skipped in the latest version of LPub3D.
The trick you mention here still works.

If I have the need for an empty step I just place dummy part out of sight (somewhere inside or outside the model) and ignore that part from PLI and BOM.
