Thank you very much. I followed your tutorial and it worked 100%. I will try doing the pattern on Inkscape first and then use it as a background on the LDPatternEditor, since the images I got were low-res and I had to change the perspective on Gimp.
And nice job on the head.

Since you are going to use a SVG drawing, you may use other solutions avoiding the tedious manual triangulation.
The tools that works best for me is img4dat. It may seem a bit backwards to first export your drawing to a bitmap image before converting it again, but result is rather good.
