That's interesting. I have a cheap Windows tablet, which I almost never use. A little while ago, I tried running LDCad on it for fun, and it didn't run too well. According to task manager it was hitting the RAM limit, not the CPU limit...
That's probably because of the lack of dedicated GPU memory, disabling the OpenGL use VBO option might help in such cases.
