Ah, that's great news.
Currently I am in the last stage of a new version that supports parts.xml.
If parts.xml will be found in the ldraw base folder LDFind asks on startup whether you want to use that file or not.
If you use parts.xml then you are limited in LDFind. you can not add other folders to search for files, as parts.xml is the base for all searches then.
