Is it possible to have different grid options for each axis (1 stud for horizontal, 1 plate for vertical ?

Yes, by editing or adding the grid configuration. 'Mesh with spanner' icon in toolbar just before the two hart ones.

Also are you planning I guess for ldcad 2 to have an outliner like blender doe's, (or like stud.io) it makes it so much easier to control parts like hide, move ect?

I'm not sure jet how 2.0 will do selection indication, it is still very alpha.
